Everyone was extra friendly. It was not too busy. Very low key. I would come again. The pickled cut potatoes were bomb. The coffee gave me a crazy amount of energy.

If you are looking for breakfast that is elevated from the ordinary, you have found it. Delicious breakfast that is above par. Friendly staff and the owner makes you feel like family.

Well it's ok!!!But I was expecting more because of the REVIEWS. I'm travel a lot 3 to 4 times a week.I order huevos rancheros?? But that was not what I expected had a lot of chile very hot!!! I didn't eat anything because was soooooo hot, but THANKS I got credit for it!!! The charge me the coffee I think was fair enough but I'm thinking now i drove 7 miles away FROM the place where I was because of the REVIEWS. I'm sorry for my REVIEW but i love to contribute to small business. I posted the pics already in the general album. I went twice last week and I liked it very much. The food is very good, and I only had one dish. Pork Belly Benny. Once with home fries, other with hash browns. I prefer the hash browns with the Hollandaise Sauce but enjoy the taste / texture of home fries. The homemade jams are as advertised as well. The morning sun in the front of the place is nice to watch as it becomes brighter and enjoy your meal. This is my new fav b'fast place in the SCV.

Service is always great, food is delicious and frankly, the have the best blueberry lavender jam anywhere! The food is well prepared and abundant. Be prepared to wait if you go in during k hours, but it is worth the wait!

Oh my gods, this place is amazing. The blend of flavors is perfect, and the service is excellent. I might drive up here on the regular. We had the Horchata French Toast and the Ranchers Benny.The decor is really cute. Quirky art, eclectic lighting. Chalk drawings & specials. Good music.

The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and specialty French toast. Service was great too.

Their Breakfast burrito was amazing, their ingredients tasted very fresh and the Horchata french toast is to die for!We were served quickly, the staff is polite and the atmosphere is great. I just really wish they brought back the mismatched mugs. P.S. Try their jams.

Amazing Salmon Benedict and Horchata French toast. They had Great service and the staff was attentive. The menu offers something new but also has classic favorites. Definitely our new favorite spot.

Housemade creamers... amazzzzing. Chicken and waffles cooked southern style... nice and crispy. Housemade blueberry & lavender preserves incredible. Cinnamon beer battered onion rings interesting... not a fav though. Yummy housemade hash browns. Excited to come back for lunch!

My favorite local breakfast spot. I have been coming here with friends for a few years. The food never disappoints, the tea (Art of Tea) and homemade creamer is deliciously addicting. The staff is always friendly, patient, and fun. It does get busy - but it’s worth the wait. All is well at Cathy’s Deli.

Had the country fried steak...it was an actual steak that was breaded and very tough. I'm sure other items are good, the homemade jams are delicious.

Cathy's deli has great yelp reviews so I was so excited to try it!! I was a bit disappointed in the food but it could have been my fault for ordered lunch at a breakfast place. I ordered the chopped salad which I guess was a mistake seeing that it is a breakfast place. My salad wasn't chopped at all and the ingredients didn't tastes fresh. We did order the Horchata french toast to share and that was delicious! Would definitely get that again. I tried their homemade coffee creamers which everyone raves about and they were delicious as well! Both flavors (the vanilla bean and the Mexican chocolate) were very unique. The breakfast menu looked great so next time I will have to try something off of there.

This was our fourth visit to Cathy's. I had the breakfast bowl and my husband had the biscuits and sausage gravy. He wasn't enamoured with his meal this time around. He thought it tasted too "healthy." He loves the savory crepes, and this will probably be his go-to dish in the future. I enjoyed the breakfast bowl, but my favorite items are the cheese blintzes with their homemade jams. Well, you really can't go wrong with their homemade jams.

A bit expensive but the food and coffee is excellent. I had the Mexican omelette, which tasted good. They are child friendly and have lots of seating room. No outside seating is available. The servers are kind and offer good food suggestions. We were there around 8 and got a table for 6 immediately.

Well the service was great. The waiting staff was quick and polite. The place has an old timey diner feel to it. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. Although the food was fresh the chicken was lacking in flavor and dry. The sauce on the other hand was very good. The fries were overcooked , but flavorful. Price wise decent $5-20. I will probably give them another shot

We love going out. Last night we visited this superb place which friends told us about. We enjoyed a lovely time there with fine cooking and a courteous crew and a great cook. We put this restaurant in our list and we shall certainly come back very soon. We warmly recommend.

First time here and I have to say, I'm in love. The wait was a little daunting but what can you expect from a place that makes food with love in mind and is the epitome of mom and pop? Walking in you feel like family and the owner greets you at every table and checks in on you. Big chains would never do that. The food was worth the wait! I don't think anything here is in bad taste. If you love the hometown feel, come here!

Amazing​. I can't say enough about this place. They already have me hooked. The chef himself came out and spoke to our party for a minute. Love when you meet the people who come up with the ideas.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Sometimes you expect the coffee to be so so but Cathy’s even brought a high-quality bean in. And whatever is in the French Toast butter was delivered by angels to my plate—seriously that good. Highly recommend! Very fair prices.

Just had lunch, food tasted really good but realky long wait, which is more difficult with a toddler n elderly. Prices seem high, thought we ordered a childs pancake but got a short stack 2 very large, way too much for a child?! But, worst part is I now have terrible abd cramping and diarrhea, Please make sure your employees are washing thier hands, not how i want to spend Valentine's day :(

This place is real quaint. The food is well priced and the portions were good. I can't lie the coffee wasn't that good.

It is a local favorite. I have had brunch here on a Sunday noon. It was full of customers. We had to wait for a few minutes but not for long. Day of Dad imagery was everywhere but it was cute. The waiter was helpful and smiley. The food was good and the portion was big. It was a lively, family-friendly moment we had.

My first time going here the other day and the experience was so great. Our waiter was amazing. I was having a hard time deciding between two things and he definitely gave great recommendations. I loved the vibe there and everything. Food was great, service was great, not one negative about this place.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Love this place. Usually open for breakfast and lunch only; now they have started to add select dinner hours. Unique favored teas, jams, coffee creamers and ice cream, all homemade and a special treat!
